Student Mock Presidential Convention

Rep. John C. Bear (R-Lancaster) recently joined with Lancaster Newspapers, Warwick High School and Manheim Township High School to host a mock presidential convention.  The purpose of these events was to teach students how to get things done legislatively, how to run for office, the media’s impact on elections, and how to handicap this presidential election.  In addition, the mock convention gave students an opportunity to interact with actual voting machines and to cast their ballot for president.
